Tiger Vs Tai Pan: my thoughts

hey everyone. well having been in both tiger and Tai Pan for the last 2 weeks nearly everynight, i just thought id post up my thoughts.

the music and atmosphere in tiger is much better IMO, much better felang to TG ratio in tiger also with better lookers in tiger, in tai pan it seems to be all couples with most of the TG's taken and very lame music.

i went into tai pan last night night to look for a little hottie and couldnt get into the night if you know what i mean, then i walked into tiger and the place was electric and i got straight onto the dancefloor , great atmosphere and loads of available stunners. just felt much better i think

anyway.................its tiger all the way for me now

anyone else have any thought?

Most girls I talk to go to the Tiger for fun (and of course to get some business), but see Taipan as kind of a last chance port if nothing else worked. So it might easily be, that you can find younger, more active girls in Tiger.

Baya Beach in my opinion is better than both of them for the girls and the music, its a little small and you have to make yourself some space but when that's accomplished there are far more stunners in Baya.

well i love my dance music people, nothing gets a club buzzing like dance music IMO, i hate that RMB shit that you cant dance to and tiger deffo has more dance music than tai pan.

yes IJ i agree that the steps upto tiger are a bast*rd when your steaming drunk, fells like climbing everest

I walked into tiger and straight back out. It was packed. Ok good for atmosphere but when you have to shove your way to the bar No thanks, I do enough of that at home at the weekend.I found Tai Pan more to my liking, not as busy ,waitress service, better music (in my opinion) and still plenty of girls.Also free entry.

Same Same. There also seemed to be alot of farang girls in Tiger, too many IMHO.:mad2: Only went in once and spent 5 mins in there. Never went back in again. However I will probably revisit on my next trip as maybe I went on a bad night or something.

yes true you have to pay into tiger but you get 2 free drinks so it works free really, i agree that tai pan has better service for drinks than tiger but thats the only better thing IMO,

Tiger is ok but IJ points are true - i like it dark but the music hasn't changed in about 3 years.

Taipan is also 'meh' so that makes all the discos a bit shite.

I guess I become old too : same for me. I've never been to Taipan alone, so I don't know if it is difficult to find a cutie there, but I don't think so.
I don't like Tiger for its so loud music, darkness et before all, the beers were hot... drank two and then I moved.

Ventured up the stairs to Tiger in the odd occasion but wasnt too keen on the place. When the bar closed it was always Baya fo me, then onto superstar, safari back to superstar and so on..............

Dragon disco had a short life but when it was on it was pretty good by patong standards. Banana disco emmmmmm where is it again?

Taipan to me is as cheesy as fcuk and very low on quality on all counts

I suppose patong is probably screaming for a good club, but in my opinion the Thai aint capable of delivering it, they only do set menus, u can see that just by looking at the bar scene

Considering any type of big entertainment venue in patong is a major issue for any investor, simply because the powers that be keep shifting the goalposts and as others have said thai would lose face if they were getting outdone by inferior farangs
