Timing of treatments

Hi all
How long do you allow yourself to do a reflexology treatment. I give them a full hour then allow myself 15 minutes prep time between clients but end up losing it as they remember to ask me something or want to check a date for example so I still end up with no break in between!

I usually keep the traetment it's self to a hour, but give five minutes before the treatment to ask relevent questions i.e consultation update's ect, i also allow ten minutes at the end to talk about the traetment and further treatments or booking's, so a my total time with my client is 1hr 15min, then 15 mins for clean up ready for my next client, this usually works well, depending on the client i sometimes give longer (5/10 mins) as some chat for england! Hope this helps a little x

Generally I make an appointment one hour, including any talk before and after. Although, if I don't have any treatments schedule in after then I may extend it if required - I recently spent over 90 mins with a client because she so upset about something in her life but I was able to give her the time.

If I have back to back clients, I usually keep to the hour, and shift the client in and out quite quickly (politely of course). If I have more time to give to a client I will give it. 10 minutes of extra treatment or advice or chit chat is generally appreicated and is good customer care. Better to look after clients than trying to get new ones, which equals spending money, time and effort.

When it comes to clock watching, you can get clients in/out in a hour, it takes more focus and firmness. One thing I do is ask a new client to come into the clinic 10 minutes early to fill out a consultation form (or even email it to them). So as the previous client is sorting themselves out, I can go into the reception, say hi, tell them I be ready in 5 to 10 minutes and pass over the form.
