LARCHMONT/MAMARONECK, NY — Police said a coordinated investigation Wednesday of massage parlors in the Village of Mamaroneck and the Village of Larchmont resulted in arrests for prostitution and unauthorized practice of a profession.
After receiving a tip from a local resident, the Village of Larchmont Police Department and the Village of Mamaroneck Police Department completed a short-term investigation into suspected unauthorized practice of a profession and prostitution occurring at five massage parlors in the two neighboring villages. Investigators found workers at all of the locations that "knowingly and unlawfully purported themselves as licensed massage therapists without the requisite state licenses." At three of the locations, the workers offered to engage in sexual conduct with undercover officers for a fee, according to officials.

At two other locations, workers were only arrested for violations of the New York State Education Law:
All of the locations were ordered closed by their respective Village Building Departments. All defendants were processed and released on desk appearance tickets.
The Villages of Larchmont and Mamaroneck Police Departments were assisted by the Westchester County District Attorney's Office and the Village of Elmsford Building Department.

- Horizon Spa - 408 Mamaroneck Avenue, Mamaroneck: Byambakhand Dorjkhand, age 47, and Sooyeon Heo, age 37 were charged with prostitution and unauthorized practice of a profession.
- Moon Spa 1 - 2039 Palmer Avenue, Larchmont: Siqian Liu, age 39, was charged with prostitution and unauthorized practice of a profession.
- Sunflowers Reflexology Spa - 3 North Avenue, Larchmont: YanPing Guo, age 51 was charged with prostitution and unauthorized practice of a profession.
At two other locations, workers were only arrested for violations of the New York State Education Law:
- Jan Spa Massage - 921 W. Boston Post Road, Mamaroneck: Rena Ren, age 54, and Bi Ya Juan, age 54 were charged with unauthorized practice of a profession.
- Spring Spa - 2120 Boston Post Road, Larchmont: Fu Shiyue, age 35, was charged with unauthorized practice of a profession.
All of the locations were ordered closed by their respective Village Building Departments. All defendants were processed and released on desk appearance tickets.
