Tipping

cant remember who said it.. but it went something like this:

when you tip, people tend to give you better service, look out for you, etc.
so, unless you're unrolling a wad of 20's or something in front of a ratero..I dont see the big deal.

hell, I noticed a major difference in the service in the 3 hours in spent at AB on sunday. I got mediocre service the first time I got a drink but after several drinks and tipping both the bartenders and meseros... they were coming up making sure everything was good and if I needed anything. One even patted me on the back and smiled when he was going by. I dont know if thats normal or not, but I doubt those washingtons I sent his way hurt at all.

Cool...I just don't want anyone to think I have an endless supply of $$$'s in my pocket...Because I noticed a lot of people in general don't tip whether it is the bartenders or dancing girls...You don't see dollar bills flying everywhere like in some American strip clubs...

Nothing wrong with tipping. The guys upstairs only earn tips, so it is appreciated. Lots of guys blame them for the "early knock", but it in reality is because the chicas tip them to knock early.

I like to have a good time, and I have a few dollars to throw around, but, I wonder if I am drawing attention to myself.

For example, in Adelita's, if I really like a girl who was dancing on seforum.xxxe, when she comes by, I will tip her with 5 ones and get a good closeup look of her. And I will do that several times in the night if the mood is right.

Another example, I will tip any hotel worker upstairs I see a dollar...Sometimes that can total $4 and I am happy to do so...

When I buy food from a street vendor, I always tip...

I hope I don't get unwanted attention for being generous...I just feel the least I can do is give everyone who provides me with service something extra 'casue some of these folks look they have some hard ass lifes...

I think I might have given out too much info last night when the chica I was with called me "rich" for my nice tipping and the fact I told her I owned homes in DC and San Diego.

Shoulda I reel things in a bit?
