when you tip, people tend to give you better service, look out for you, etc.
so, unless you're unrolling a wad of 20's or something in front of a ratero..I dont see the big deal.
hell, I noticed a major difference in the service in the 3 hours in spent at AB on sunday. I got mediocre service the first time I got a drink but after several drinks and tipping both the bartenders and meseros... they were coming up making sure everything was good and if I needed anything. One even patted me on the back and smiled when he was going by. I dont know if thats normal or not, but I doubt those washingtons I sent his way hurt at all.
