Hello, it's my first year wrestling for my high school team. I'm strong, but I'm a very passive wrestler. I need some help/pointers. Help me out with some of my weaknesses.
1. I'm very passive. I'm scared to shoot at times and I usually wait until my opponent shoots. Also, I tend to stay on the defensive.
2. When I do shoot, I'm not quick enough, and I get sprawled. What should I do in that situation?
3. When I'm on bottom (usually stuck in a sprawl), I tend to hold on to one of my opponents leg and never let go, so I barely score. Also, I tend to always keep my head on the mat and never look up and drive when I do have my opponents leg.
4. How do I become more aggressive? This is probably my weakest point.
