I have just moved house and am now renting
My dog used to be able to come in and out of the old house as she pleased
She is fine when i am with her at the new place but i worry about her when i leave her here by herself
The property is fenced but because its a rental i worry about her digging in the garden or digging under a fence.
I have gone and got her new dog tags with my phone number on them, updated her registration with the council, got her toys for the back yard, set up her bed so she can see me when i am inside and she is outside and she sleeps on my bed at night.
Is there anything else i can do to ease my mind ?
What is crating? If it involves locking her in, im not sure if i can do that to her, i dont know how she would cope after having so much freedom at the old house
My housemate doesnt want the house smelling like a dog so she said she doesnt want her inside all the time
Excuse me !! There is no reason to be rude. If it was my choice then SHE would be inside all the time but unfortunately its not my decision seeing as its impossible to afford a house on my own. I had the dog before i moved here and am trying to accommodate her as best as i can and make sure that she is ok. She is part of my family. Besides, if she sleeps inside on my bed at night then wouldnt you think it is healthy for her to be outside some of the time
Far out, calm down and dont be so rude next time
