Guys I would like to know how much are you tipping for a 45 min massage. A regular + hj. Good questions but i think basic is 20$ and go up to 40$ if you had a really good one with touching etc... What do you think?

Personaly I don't think tipping on the massage is neccessary irregardless of length.I don't tip my chiro,accupuncturist or my dentist either.20 should be sufficeint for your basic yank.If your roaming all over and sometimes under,go accordingly,30 would be alright .40 and some things gotta go.Beyond that,possibly a bit more complicated.Your average mp,if she does these options,normally expect to dish out 60-80 for birthday gear.from there its pretty much a crap shoot as to what else is available and what will be the required contribution if any.this is where the intangables come in to play.no 2 situations alike.some times someone may have more bargaining power than others and viceversa.

Haha you guys always crack me up when justifying your tipping policy.
Comparing a rub-and-tugger to your chiro or dentist, both of whom are making >$250k a year.
In regular massage places, a tip to the masseuse is left to the discretion of the client, but its common to tip $5-10...

I'd gladly give my dental hygienist a tip for a little tug after the cleaning (she's hot) but I wouldn't know how to bring up the subject

And forget about your dental hygenist giving a little tug they don't even do it for the dentist lol

Getting back to the subject,

Tipping in a parlor is pretty well established, but I always wondered:
Are you supposed to tip and indy?

When she charges you say $100 for an hour, Do you add a tip?
I never did since a figure nothing goes to the house and its all for the lady.
I'm I being a cheap bastard or am I right?

If you are an indy and reading this I would also apreciate your opinion.

I think you have to look at tipping the masseuse in the same way you would for a haircut or a good meal and don't compare them to a chiro or your dentist. This statement is simply a red herring by someone to justify what is simply being a real cheapskate. 10 - 25 % on the basic massage makes sense as a tip depending on the quality of service. If you tip appropriately, You may be pleasantly surprised when you return - the girls also remember who the cheapskates are to . However you do not need to tip on any extra services.
