OK, let's try to fix most of the mis-information in Fireball's post
Hotel la Villa Zaragosa is not in the Zona, not even close. Villa de Zaragoza is in Downtown Tijuana and is right across the street from Jai Alai on Madero, between 7th and 8th. It's a good ten blocks from La Zona, and you would be well advised to take a taxi between it and La Zona instead of walking, especially at night. Hotel America is also in Downtown AND NOT IN LA ZONA, although it's considerably closer to LZ, only 3 blocks away.
The hotel that Fireballs could not provide the name of is the Hacienda de Santiago. It is, IMHO, the best hotel inside of La Zona. Friday and Saturday the rate for a single is $44 + $3 key deposit. Sunday thru Thursday the rate is $38 + $3. I think the double rooms run $6 more per night. If you pay for five nights up-front when you check-in, your 6th and 7th night stays are free. Parking is also always free for hotel guests. Many of their rooms offer kitchenettes, at no additional cost.
While it's debateable whether Leyva is a nice hotel (I usually stay there), it would only be a rookie bar girl monger who would incorrectly state that you take Chicago Club chicas to the Leyva hotel. In between the Chicago Club and the Leyva is the Hotel Jalos. It's the Hotel Jalos that provides short-term 30 minute rooms for mongers that wish to take a Chicago Club puta upstairs.
I have taken numerous Chicago Club chicas to my room at the Leyva, to avoid the $11 S/T charge and door knocks that are the norm for the Jalos' even shabbier rooms. But in all cases my chica had to either sneak away to the Leyva, bribe the Chicago Club's doorman with favors, or wait until her shift at the Chicago Club was over before she could bypass Hotel Jalos and go with me to my Leyva room.
Again Fireballs is ignorant to this hotel's charges, customs and practices. He's correct that a well placed tip can help you avoid the dreaded Cascades joiner fee when you bring numerous chicas to your room there within one 24-hour period (BTW: many LZ hotels charge this "joiner" fee for extra chicas, the Eduardo, Michoacan #1, The Mini, Rizo de Oro, the Najera, and others). In late fall (about 4 months ago) Cascades was charging $31 for a single room and $40 for a double (324 pesos/424 pesos). When you rent a single room at Cascades, you are allowed to bring up one chica, one time in a 24-hour stay, with no additional joiner fee. When you rent a double room, which you can do by yourself, or with another male monger, the hotel guest(s) are allowed to bring up two chicas in that 24-hour period free from additional fees. If your virility allows you to session more than that number of chicas in a 24-hour period
, or you wish to take up numerous chicas at the same time for threesomes, foursomes or whatever
...You must pay a joiner fee of $5.50 for each additional street girl (58p) or $12 for each additional bar girl (130p).
This exact same fee schedule and joiner fee requirement exists at the Rizo de Oro Hotel (above Tropical Bar) which is owned by the same family. However the joiner fees are a little easier to avoid at the R de O due to more laxed enforcement and/or more cheaply greased palms at that location.
Both the Rizo de Oro and Cascades have large jacuzzi rooms. I think they currently rent for $71 a night. The jacuzzis are enormous and these rooms are twice the size of regular hotel rooms in Cascades, with one very large king-size bed. The allowable number of chicas you are allowed to bring up to the jacuzzi rooms without a joiner fee seems to vary from monger to monger, so YMMV is the general rule with the small number of jacuzzi rooms.
