To introduce my lovebirds?

I have a one year old male peach faced lovebird, and he is the sweetest timid bird that i have owned. He likes to be with other birds, with my cousins budgie and cockatiel (they stay in there cages) I want to get him an other nice peach faced lovebird that i met, this bird is curious and young and full of life, and i was wondering, how will i introduce them?

You have to be careful introducing lovebirds to one another. They are territorial and to put one bird in the cage of another can be fatal. Keep them together, next to each other in their cages and if you can let them get together in a neutral area that is generally safest. And make sure they are getting along. I have had lovebirds for many years and I have lost birds because they were not accepted and the resident bird killed them. Now I have learned to be very cautious because they are called Lovebirds, but there is not alot of love.....
Plus, as a pet, they generally make better pets for humans if you just have one. When you get two they tend to start associating with each other and do not want to socialize with a human as much. But they are happier with their own kind. I keep mine in an outdoor aviary and they are quite untame. but they are happy.
