Hi Sarah. I was just reading the messages on ear candling and I was a little confused!!

If Reflexology is so bad, and it can do so much harm (?), and, if you are so anti having Reflexology, why do you practise it? Isn't it a little hypocrittical to do on your clients something that you would NEVER have done yourself?

It is a shame about the heamorrage and I hope you are well now, but I don't believe that Reflexology was the "sole" cause .

I think you misread Sarah's post. The comment about reflexology and the haemmorage was between quotes and Sarah was stating what she was told by the ear candling teacher.

to Sarahreflex.......... I'm REALLY sorry!! I'm a Reflexologist and defend it to the high heavens (as you may have gathered!!!). I did misread your post and I feel really bad about it. Hopefully no offence was taken. I'll get my reading glasses on, and the size 9 shoe out of my mouth!!!! Sorry

No offence taken Jane!!! Just for the record I don't beleive reflexology can do ANY harm whatsoever and the longer I practice the less need I see for so called contraindications. I definitely don't see how it could have had anything to do with the internal heamorraging... My guess is that this person didn't make a complaint or take legal action against their reflexology practitioner because they know this conenction woudn't be taken seriously.
