I was trying to follow the directions on one of the other threads and google map it to see if I could figure out where it was before my up coming trip and it just wasn't working out for me. That mainly applies to the smaller hotels, where they recognize you after the first day. I've also stayed at Sunroute and Century Southern no problems

Hi Guys,

I visited tokyo and stayed at the sunroute hotel in shinjuku last trip.

This time I will be staying at the Shibuya Excel. Does anyone know about this hotel? Will they allow me to bring people back into my room? I have heard of story's where staff will not allow you to bring anyone back up to the room even if it really is just a friend or they will make you pay extra for a double room instead of a single.

Whats the deal on this? I really appreciate any input.
