Tom,s pizza Banzamai

Hi there, im coming to Patong in 10 days time and I want to meet up with an old friend of mine. He,s name is Tom and he had a pizza resturant in Banzamai about a year and a half ago, but I was quite drunk at the time and it was dark so I don,t remember where it was. I have been around looking a couple of times but I have not found it.

Tom is the one who was the manager of Viking bar and resturant oposit soi lion in Bangla some years ago. He has been in the bar and resturant buissnes in Patong and Karon for about 15-20 years and he,s from Norway.

BTW is Geir from Love Bar in soi Sea Dragoon still around? Heard he went home.

Gier has a resort on an Island up near Ranong (phayam Island)..

No idea who this Tom is but if hes a 20 year Noggie expat my money is that Jan up in the Hilltop hotel will know him.

Tom is a Dane and had a bar up Soi Sunset back in the late 80s and 90s.He then move it to a Danish beer garden which was at end of Soi Bangla Square (beside Ricos).:info:

Don't know it it's what you're looking for but have just driven past a "Tom's Pizzeria" outside what used to be Vises Hotel on Sai Namyen road in Patong (from north end of Nanai Road, turn left and is about 100m along on LHS). It did have some Scandinavian flags painted on the sign outside so could be it.

Got me thinking about people I have lost touch with - does anyone know if Slim from Blue Lotus bar is still around? Used to enjoy sitting there for a few sundowners but it has changed owner and I lost touch.

Is that same Tom that was running Viking Bar in Soi Sunset ? Then he deffo is Norwegian.And the Viking Resturant he later opened in the before mentioned adress was brilliant.
