January 1st, 2011...My husband was working at night (works for the railroad) He called me in the early AM, saying he heard something snap in his R leg and he cannot walk. I immediately told him that he might have torn a muscle or tendon. Off to the ER he went. The next morning he went to see the M.D. He was examined and diagnosed with a tear in the medial head of his R gastro. 3 months of rest and me being his personal servant (haha) he finally started some PT..he was over that right away and said they just like to challenge him with other clients. We went to his last check up and the M.D. said he can do whatever he'd like now..he's healed.
Well one day after work, I took his socks off for him and found some major swelling in his injured R leg. We went back to the M.D. and pushed on him had an ultrasound done on his leg to look for bl clots. No bl clots...thank goodness! The M.D. just shrugged it off and said "Eh, just some swelling..it'll go away" It's been 2 months and he still gets swelling and his foot looks like a pregnant lady's foot.
Any suggestions? I don't trust M.D.s' at all.
