Many of you may be interested to hear of a new treatment designed to work on the entire spine to both free all the joints and also to align the spine. I suffered with neck pain from my teenage years and had developed a scoliosis and was attending a chiropractor. The treatments were helping ease the pain for a week or so but the same problems kept returning and when I read about treatment it sounded very logical and I thought I would try it. It has made such a difference to my neck pain (I no longer "crack" my neck, I can stand for long period of time without my neck and shoulders getting sore and I have no pain into my arm) and the benefits were long lasting.
The reason the benefits are long lasting is because the treatment works on the entire spine. Most peoplehave some degree of a sideways curvature in the spine and where there is a curvature there is increased stress in that area which leads to pain. It is this increased stress that leads to disc and joint degeneration and nerve pain. If, for example, your Lumbar spine has a curvature and you are feeling the pain around L5/S1 most people would simply work on the sore area. This may ease the problem temporarily but the curvature is still there putting the pressure onto that area and inevitably the problem returns. However, by working on the entire spine withit is possibleto free up and align all the joints of the spine, thereby stabilising the spine and making the benefits much longer lasting. The equipment used in this treatment is able to provide a better job of freeing up the spine.
