The reason is He was a cop who stop a cartel member - citizenfreepress.com it self says others COPS sent this guy into a known dangerous situation of which he (the dead cop) was unaware.

OK so killed was incorrect. My fault I should always double check the facts of what I read on twitter. So on this list we get 29 killed on duty in 3.5 months. At that pace 99 estimated to be killed in 2021. That's up from 2019 there were 89 officers killed in the line of duty.
