Treating a 13 year old

I am possibly going to give Reflexology to a 13 year old boy who has migraines.

Would you suggest that I give the full hour or only half an hour to see how he was with the treatment?

Any advice from more experienced members would be appreciated as I've not treated a teenager before.

Keep the first treatment short - say 30 mins, and build up. Has his migraine problem been diagnosed? You may need to ask his Mum or Dad to be in the room. I had a 15yr old with migraines about 20 years ago, but it turned out to be temporal arteritis, which is rare in someone so young.

Yes I would agree. Get the condition confirmed and minors under 16 need to have a parent or guardians consent and also needs to be present. Half hours session would be fine and then increase to 45 mins then maybe an hour.
