I like Tropical Bar, it has the feeling of a Mexican bar but with the chicas and some good Mexican music. Hopefully it isn't ruined by the tourist and turn it into Adelitas or Chicago bar.

I'm not positive, but I think the bar to the right of BT that you are referring to is Mermaids. At ary rate, Mermaids is a combination bar/MP located to the right of BT when exiting AB. Downstairs you can drink and watch chicas dance. Upstairs are the rooms. Upstairs you can also get a typical MP chica lineup. Not a bad place, but as noted in the quote, while package prices are available, you'll spend more than in many bars to do a session.

Burt gave a good desc about BT. About directions, when you "cum" out of Adelitas cross the road, make a left and its about 50 meters to your right, on way you will hassled by another bar callers, just walk past, its on your right. If you get to the intersection you have gone too far. You can also check the bar on you right which you passed after you go to BT. This one, I forgot its name, has some dancers, but their "take out" girls are in a package deal where you go upstairs and select from a lineup. Its generally more expensive and less control with you

Tropical bar is my usually my 2nd stop in the ZN. My fiirst is the restaraunt/bar on the other corner of Constitution, and Coahuila(next to Pollo Bar) live music, and $1 coronas to get tuned... After that TROPICAL! This place has changed over the years, but they have kept their 2 for 1 happy hour!!!!After a remodel(likeAB) they added some hotties and better music.. To my surprize , some of the those hotties r asking more than $60, and they dont negotiate! So be careful. If TB isnt happening, then ill head southeast across the street to Chevelassss, which is close to AB!

I love tropical! Great 2 for ones on beer, like Miami... In most instances its my 2nd stop in the ZN. My first being the Restauraunt on the corner of Constitution and Coahuila.. I can't remember the name ( next to Pollo Bar) but Great food and $1 coronas. I pop in there for a couple, get tuned for 4 bucks, and walk across the street (constitution) to Tropical. Tropical has come a long way over the last couple of years.. A makeover similar to AB, a few years ago, and they have added some better music, cute girls, A few times though, ive run into some hotties there, and to my surprize their asking price was higher than $60!!! And they they wouldnt take less! When that happens i just look Southeast across the street to my next destination..... Chevelas!

Bar Tropical is a favorite of some "seasoned mongers." It has the reputation as being a place where FOB (fresh off the bus) first work in TJ. The chicas aren't as polished, well dressed, aggressive, etc. as in AB or CC. The biggest negative is that it gets an above average level of complaints about mesero scams. I enjoy BT--most of the time.

Howz the tropical bar? I need to try out something diff than adilitas and hong kong..can u guys suggest a bar? let me know the location also, taking adilitas as a land mark
