Trying to avoid working girls...

Hey all...

So I've been in Phuket for 3 days. Nice beach and great way to get a tan. I visited Bangla the past two nights and it was quite different from what I expected. I guess you could say it hasn't quite lived up to my expectations... I recently left Bangkok, which I enjoyed very much so. The nightlife was amazing, however during the day it's just your average city... What made the nightlife so amazing was the crowd. I hit up RCA for 3 nights, and although it's a tad repetitive, there was enough girls (non-working) to keep me more than happy. Phuket has left me a bit dissapointed during the night (although last night I went to see the ping pong show.... I've been to Tiger, Hollywood, and a few other places but all the girls seem to be either a) Working Girls b) Ladyboys... This really kills my mood. It's hard for me to interact with working girls because I know they will always end up asking for money and sex... I would like to know if there are places around that cater more to locals (non-working) kind of like RCA. I know it's funny to some that I ask this, it's Phuket afterall, but Bangkok really exceeded my expectations (girls were really good looking and roughly around my age, friendly and most were students, plus you don't pay for bang bang! . I figure I will hit up SoundClub and Seduction tonight... Any advice would be great... Or maybe I'm just thinking the unimaginable.

But really if your looking for hookups, then pay.. Your not intending to be a boyfriend and give anything serious and TG's in the main are either expecting either relationship or money, its give one or the other, TGs dont do no strings. If you have no intention of giving the ongoing relationship then dont lead them on with that.

Thanks LOS. Yah I know what you are saying... It's not just that, but it's also that I find I really can't interact with working girls that much... Conversation is usually always a bit awkward with me knowing she wants to be paid. I don't necessarily want to have sex, I'd much rather have a great time at the club dancing and a nice convo with someone just for fun. Whilst in Bangkok, it was easy to interact with the locals, they were kind had there friends around and we all had a great time... I guess working girls obviously have a different mentallity... They are doing this for a living. I'll check out Club Lime possibly tonight.

yeah RCA in bangkok does not compare to Bangla as it would not compare to Soi Cowboy / Nana (which most consider to be 'nightlife' in BKK). Try Phuket Town.

I was in tai pan in november and ended up meeting a thai girl who was on holiday from koh samui, staying with her sister. just cus a guy gets some action the old fashioned way. I was sceptical too and expected a bit of a story at the end to extract some cash, which i would have given, no probs. We did openly talk about P4P and she was quite curious about it and said if she liked someone why do it for money.

I guess its difficult to know in that scenario what the score is, but i would say that she was THE shy'est girl i've ever met -thai or farang. certainly didn't put out on the first night either. figured a few mojito's and mai thai's would loosen the inhibitions. strategy worked.

i would be wary of any girl i met in a tai pan type place. i would think 100% they are after money

but i'd love to point out some spots in BKK that i know are 100% not even close to p4p and see how guys do in there
again, I am not being a cynic. i was at one place last night that was all really rich thai people and i was wondering how a single farang would do in there

yep, i totally agree. thought it was a bit weird myself. probed a bit on that subject but not too much as to embarrass. my friend was also a bit annoyed at her sis cus all she did was sleep during the day. I asked what she was doing with herself "oh, i've been reading". what a sweetheart.

I came to LOS for the first time in Nov 08 with my mate and met a girl while we were playing pool who was half thai, half singaporean. She was in Phuket seeing family and came out clubbing with us. Very pretty girl and was a real estate lawyer in singapore. Same ending :great:

With a bit of luck you can be the right person at the right time saying the right things. It would be really hard to deliberately go looking for that scenario -and why would you bother? but opportunity presented itself. I'm sure loads of others have similar 'fluke' encounters. Always seems to happen on holiday when you least expect it, no matter where you go. God, I never seem to get laid in manchester!! haha

to the OP...Stereo Lab, Lime, Seduction and Sounds (to a lesser degree I hear these days as they are now offering free drinks to gals) are clubs more aimed at the music than P4P...the clubs you mentioned are really no more than P4P pick up joints

I've encourted girls in central Thailand that were sitting with thier moms ,sisters, eating,walking on the street,just normal girls. And they were looking at me the same way girls look at me in my country when they/if they like me.
In fact, in most non bargirls I met in LOS didn't appear much different in any way than girls at home:neutral:
