Two arrested on prostitution charges at massage parlor - WWSB

PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. (WWSB) - Two women have been arrested and charged with prostitution at local massage parlors after deputies received a tip about illegal sexual activity.

The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office received anonymous tips about a pair of local massage parlors.

During an undercover operation, detectives entered Calla Massage at 2191 Tamiami Trail, and Golden Massage, located at 4120 Tamiami Trail.

In each location, the detectives entered with enough cash to pay for a massage plus extra for any additional “services” offered.

At Calla Massage, the detective was greeted by Qiangwei Dong.

According to detectives, Dong was asked about tipping, to which she replied, “How much?”.

The detective and Dong discussed different dollar amounts, with her making gestures each time of what that amount would get him. The detective asked outright if $200 would get him sex, and Dong responded with a yes. After receiving the money, Dong began to undress, and other deputies entered the massage parlor.

Seeing this, Dong attempted to flee out the rear of the business, but deputies were able to take her into custody. This is the third prostitution-related arrest of Qiangwei Dong in 25 months, escalating her charges to a third-degree felony.

At Golden Massage, an undercover detective received a massage from a woman who identified herself as Xiaomen Li.

During that massage, Li agreed to perform a sex act for the amount of $180.00. After Li was given the money, deputies entered the establishment and placed her under arrest.

Dong and Li have bonded out as of this release.
