BELVIDERE, Ill. (WIFR) -- Belvidere police make two arrests after following up on complaints against a local massage parlor.
On Monday, police conducted a search warrant at the Hot Stone Spa, located at 2184 N. State Street.
The investigation resulted in arrest warrants.
Eun M. Lee, 45, of Des Plaines faces a felony count of violating the massage licensing act. She could face one to three years in the Illinois Department of Corrections (IDOC) if convicted.
Mae Haw Roberts, 67, of Belvidere faces two counts of violating the massage licensing act, which is punishable up to a year in the IDOC.
They're both considered innocent until proven guilty.
Anyone with information regarding suspicious activity is asked to call Belvidere Police or Boone County Crime Stoppers.
