Hi
I suspect I'm one of the 'oldies' using the forum as I'm in my 60s, but pain is pain whatever your age.
I have had severe back pain and sciatic pain in my buttocks and leg for 6 months following a problem in an exercise class.
Have had an MRI which diagnosed 2 prolapsed discs. Two spinal block injections have eased, but not cured the sciatica.
I cannot walk more than 20yds or stand and I am now totally housebound. I have been told that no surgeon would consider operating on me. I am wondering about the Minimal Invasive Spinal Surgery (Martin Knight) and would appreciate any comments\guidance about this as I think it may be my only option.
