Two Redlands massage parlors were shutdown on Thursday, Dec. 5 during a human trafficking operation, the San Bernardino County Sheriff Department said.
According to authorities, the Red Dragonfly Spa, located at 1630 W. Redlands Blvd. Suite K, and Kings Massage, located at 802 W. Colton Ave. Suite F, were fronts for prostitution operations.
Both places were shutdown after the San Bernardino County Human Trafficking Task Force, along with officers from the Redlands Police Department and Redlands Code Enforcement, served two search warrants.
For the past several months, nearby residents and business owners complained about prostitution occurring at the massage parlors. After an intense surveillance and undercover operations, authorities gathered enough evidence to search the places.
As a result of the investigation, four suspects were identified and charged with solicitation for prostitution, said authorities. In addition, both locations were red tagged and immediately closed following health safety concerns, said authorities.
The investigation is ongoing, said authorities.
