Typical Yellow Taxi Bullshit

I know that many of you use the yellow taxis for a variety of reasons. I prefer to walk as I don't like patronizing people that use their tactics.

Last night at 10:30 some type of fight broke out near the area they call the front door. This is the area you walk into where they are all parked in a big lot. The police were called. Two police cars came to answer a call and entered there parking lot. The problem was big enough the police called for back up. The yellow taxis instructed two cars to block the entrance into the parking....soon their were 20 cars, trucks and motorcycles responding....they called out on their loud speakers to move the cars....the drivers just sat in their cars to keep the police out. Eventually the officer abandoned their vehicles to respond.

I doubt this will make the papers as the yellows have more influence than the Municipal police. I have no idea what the fight was about. I would suggest it was not a taxi war, or it would have not been at that location unless they drug a guy into their area. Usually the taxi confrontations happen between the McDonald's and the glorietta.
