Uk Dj coming to thailand

Hi everyone,
been looking on your board for a while now, seems a very friendly place with a lot of help on
Im a uk house Dj coming to Bangkok and Pattaya for 3 weeks,
was wondering if you know of any good clubs to go too, was even thinking of playing a few gigs whilst i was there, would be cool to do this,

Anway the are plenty of good Thai d.j`s (i cant remember that ladies name but im sure some one will)
I think you have to be a bit in the know as i figure its a closed knit group thing

The permit will cost you upwards of GBP 750 when all taken into account, including visa etc.

I would just forget it!

Goldie is coming to do a gig later in the year at Sound so maybe you should come when he is here.

Sounds is a new club in Patong/Phuket which plays the sort of international music you nmay be seeking....they are part of the Bed Group which also run The Bed Supper Club in BKK....Q Bar is another in BKK you may wish to investigate

the reason you may have received a less than warm reception earlier is that we get a DJ a week asking these sorts of questions....and no one has ever heard of them by name

the guys are right about work permits though Parello....don't even think about working here without one...it could mean a long sdtint in a thai detention centre...not a nice place to be

havent heard much in phuket,if any really....not a headlining set anyway....cant see it going down well at the likes of sound.

a lot more D&B being played on koh phangan but that caters for a different crowd,sure there is the odd big name around bangers from time to time also.

Goldie does an Asian tour every year, sells out.

Last year my friend and I took him around Bangla and numerous 'fans' were clamouring for his autograph.

Narcisstic, vain and a cheap charlie he may be but, he earns and is popular.

Also a very talented artist, which he concentrates on more these days.

You may not like his style but, many do, and pay big bucks to be entertained by him.
