Queensbury, NY (WRGB) — A Queensbury man was arrested March 30, after police say he offered massages despite being unlicensed and is accused of inappropriately touching customers.
Tieli Wang, 54, of Queensbury, was arrested at the Lily Spa, 878 State Route 9, Queensbury, March 30 and charged with three counts of third-degree Sexual Abuse and three counts of Forcible Touching along with other New York State Education Department Law violations, for providing massage therapy services without a New York State license to do so.
On March 28, 2024, at 3:15 p.m., New York State Police received a complaint that Wang had inappropriately touched a patron at the business in Queensbury. According to police, the victim hired Wang to receive a massage at the Lily Spa earlier the same day. During the service, Wang reportedly forcibly touched the victim. Further investigation discovered two additional victims who alleged Wang had forcibly touched them during massages they hired him to perform at Lily Spa in the fall of 2023, police shared.
Wang was issued appearance tickets for Queensbury Town Court on April 8, 2024, and released.
Police provided an update on Friday:
On April 4, a fourth victim was identified, reporting Wang also forcibly touched them inappropriately while receiving a massage at a Lily Spa. Subsequently, he was charged with an additional fourth count of third-degree Sexual Abuse, Forcible Touching, and New York State Education Department Law violation for providing massage therapy services without a license.
