Nearly a dozen people in Scarsdale massage parlors were busted for rubbing down customers without a license, Greenburgh police said.
A police investigation into Scarsdale Foot Massage, at 734 S. Central Ave., and Foot Relaxation, at 1113 S. Central Ave., found that 10 people were breaking state laws regrading practicing massage therapy without a license.
Eight people were charged with practicing massage therapy without a license, a felony. Four of those charged with offering massages without a state license were from Scarsdale Foot Massage: Wen Toa Song, Hong Lan Wang, Shanghai Gao, Lan Ling Sun, and Qiuxian Lin. The other four charged with not having a state license were from Foot Relaxation: Xi De Xu, Wei Wang, Zi Guo Lin, and Guihua Zhou.
In addition, Song and Xian Man Zhang, of Foot Relaxation, were charged with helping those practice a profession without a sate license, also a felony.
All ten people were charged and released on bail. Both massage parlors were cited for several code violations and closed.
