Using your intuition

Is anyone going to the AoR workshop on intuition in London in November? It's on a weekend and you can go either on Saturday or Sunday.

The reason I am mentioning this is that I have had an experience with a client that I want to share with you. It was pretty amazing. I was working on the sacral area and it felt out of balance. A thought just popped into my head, 'I wonder if this lady had a foreceps delivery with her daughter'? I asked her and yes, she did. Nothing mentioned about it in the consultation and she didn't even tell me that as a result of this she gets backaches. This isn't the first time I've had this sort of experience but I think it's my most interesting to date. So my dear colleagues, what experiences have you had where your intuition has served you well?

Wow that's great Siobhan! Can't think of any intuitive moments off the top of my head, but yes I am going to the seminar on the Saturday. Are you going??

One example always amazes me, some years agoI was treating a client one day and had got about halfway through when suddenly Ipanicked, she was falling off the couch!!! My heart went in my mouth and I tried to grab her. In fact at that precise moment she had felt herself rising from her body. She had not physically moved at all. That was a good learning point for me and I find that empathy very helpful.

YES Siobhan! I've hadcertain thoughts about the personspring to mindwhilst giving reflexology treatments. Sometimes about health conditions, but also about other things such as personal problems. Once a name kept popping into my head whilst treating a new client. I've never thought to mention anything to my clients to verify the information, but perhaps I should? How do I find out about the course Siobhan? And thank you for making me feel sane!

If you phone the Association of Reflexologists on01823 351010and ask about the seminar on intuition on 19 or 20 November(with Dr Christine Page) they may have places left. If you are not an AoR member it's £40 as opposed to £35. You have to go as someone's guest but I would be happy to take you as mine if you want to go - I'm going on 20 November.
