(KUTV) —
A Utah man is facing a criminal charge after allegedly sexually assaulting a woman who wanted a massage.
Court documents state the woman went to an establishment to get a massage from 34-year-old Merga Kennard, of Summit County.
After undressing and lying on the massage table, Kennard began touching her inappropriately without her consent, according to court documents. He also made comments about her chest.
Kennard has been charged in Third District Court with a second-degree felony of forcible sexual abuse.
Individuals charged in complaints are presumed innocent unless or until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in court.
