Has everyone read the recent article by Daniel Wood? I found it very interesting. He is very well informed and knowledgeable about the "hobby" the business, the players and the size of the sex industry here in Vancouver.

It was good to see Scarlett Lake being profiled, she is open, honest and very realistic about the business. Her attitude is so refreshing and I believe the right one. This "hobby" doesn't hurt anyone if it run by respectable people like her.

I also agree with Daneil's position that the street prositition is a problem and too dangerous. I hope that the aweness of the sex industry will legalize the business and protect the women in it.

Has Daniel be a participant in the hobby?

When I see Ms Lake being up front I wander why Brandi down plays her participation in the industry. She is a huge leader in this industry, she runs a quality operation, clean, safe etc. She deserves an award and proper recognation for the good work she has done.

What does others think?

WTLW there are already a few threads covering this in the Lounge where it should be.

Oppai not every one reads the lounge and the first mention was over 35 pages back so they might miss the story.

The important thing is that there was some very positive stuff in the article and it laid out the hobby as I know it very well.

If the laws were changed it would protect the girls and that has to be a good thing! There are some very sick people out there and in the end no one wants to see any one hurt.

It is positive that over 50 business plus hundreds of independants are accecpted in Vancouver, over the Lower Mainland it has to be a huge industry. The better known, the safer it is and the less the legal hassle there is the better!

It is too good a message to be ignored!

I have to agree with VTC, I don't read the lounge either. Perhaps I'm lazy or just not bothered. Who has the time to go though all that history?

This should be in the Lounge area and not in the review section... Plus, it was already mentioned in the lounge about 3 or 4 times already.

Other than that it was a good article.
