veda indian head

Hello friends

has any one done indian head training with veda lifestyle in Watford, Herts


They have a course running in march I would love to do it but want to know if A 1 day course is good to practice on clients with.


The art of indian massage will be taught by a indian therapist who says that thr course covers a wide range from oils to contraindication etc


What do people think?

Hiya

Although I cant say about Veda, I did a one day course in IHM, and use it for clients.
However, I really think that the fact that Im already qualified in Massage and Reflexology helped, and if you arent already a therapist, I think you may well struggle. If you are already a therapist, you'll be fine - depending on teacher of course!

Hi, I agree with Ged, unless you are already a therapist then to learn IHM in one day is almost impossible. There is the related anatomy and physiology as well as learning the moves and contraindications etc. I did the VTCT course which lasted six months and included doing a number of remote case studies which I had to complete before coming back to finish the course and do the exam.

If you are serious about doing IHM , then I would recommend VTCT or a similar body.

Yes i am already a therapist in holistic massage and baby massage,
I think i will do the course as it is only £45 and i am willing to do other courses if needed.

the teacher sounds very good and i get a postive feeling.

Just did my course-wow it was so good,the Indian priest was so informative and very patient.

The day was very interesting I learned all about the Indian traditions and got to eat some great food at the Temple.

I know I need to keep going over what I was shown but I really feel I have a good base to start now.

We used lots of different oils and I had fun.
