Anyone know how to get a vendors liscense in ohio? is it easy

I know in New York City, they are only giving out vendor's licenses to veterans (or widows/widowers of veterans).  I went to the office of licenses & they told me that it's been that way since 9/11.  I was able to get the application for a 30-day street fair vendor's license, but the guy told me that unless I was a veteran or a widow of a veteran, I could not get a vendor's license.

You would apply to your county auditor's office.

I haven't applied for one yet, but I think its as simple as filling out the form and submitting the $25.00 fee.

Yes, it's easy.  I am in Montgomery County, so I had to go to the City building in Dayton.  $25 and 15 minutes and I was good to go.  Just an FYI...make sure they use the code for Massage Therapy and not a different business.  They used cosmetics on mine and I had to have it changed.  You will then pay sales tax every six months.  That's easy to do, too.  I use Tele-file.  Again, 15 minutes and it's taken care of.
