First post here so go easy on me. I have been in practice for about two years and I keep running into the same problem. I work at a Chiro office and get a great deal of car accidents. I seem to make great progress on addressing all the issues that come up, but I always seem to have some nagging low back pain. I remembered some techniques to test and release the SI joint, and that did great for some of them. The problem is I have some clients that have very tight rotatories and mulitifidi on one side of the spine. I can easily palpate them when I move along the lamina groove, but I just canโt seem to get them to release. One client I spent 20 minutes working in the lamina groove between T10-L2, and got no where. I colleague suggested looking at the position that the people were in when the accident took place, reverse it, and do joint challenging techniques in the area. I have not had a chance to try this yet, but wanted to pose the question here to see if anyone knew any good techniques for getting the deep muscles of the spine to release.
Thanks before hand for any advice, and thanks to everyone who posts here, you have been helping me for months already!
