Hi Everyone,

Im new here and really need some help regarding a question on the M2.

In regards to contra actions it asks for an unexpected contra action. Ive looked in all my books and they only offer expected contra actions.

Can anyone think of any unexpected contr actions and how you would deal with them?

If possible, I need any replies by tomorrow!

Hi

Not sure if this is what you need, but just put all the contra-actions you can think of.

Worsening of symptoms and current ailment e.g. Warn the client that they may feel worse before they feel better, as the body must rebalance and expel and suppress disorders.

Cleansing Reactions - Speeding up of the excretory system such as passing more urine, more frequent stools, spots, rashes, cold-like symptoms, sweating.

Aching and Soreness - due to relase of toxins and the nerve fibres responding to deep tissue work

Tiredness - Due to release of toxings, allowing healing to occur.

Emotional state - client may feel tearful, depressed - cleaning of the mind and emotions occurring.

p.s. I took a look at your profile and noticed that you'd like to do Reflexology. I qualified in 2003 and although the course was hard work and quite tricky at times I would you really recommend it. Its extremely fascinating and clients love it!!!!
