Waiting Area Music

What kind of music do you all play in the waiting area?

Currently, the owner has the same music playing in the waiting room that is in the massage rooms. (It kills me when we are sitting up there)

At the doctor's office that I work at, he plays modern soft rock in the lobby area. That's what I think we should play.

We don't play any music in the waiting area either. When I am there at the desk, I like to have the music from my room playing so that I can hear it from the desk. I don't like for it to be "silent" in there. I do try to take note, however, of when hubby's left *his* music playing and his door is open, and I don't like to have two different "musics" playing at the same time, so I'll turn mine off.

I think the whole "answer" would depend on the situation, though. Hubby likes to "rock out" when nobody is expected, but if someone walks in the door, he will turn it off.

Ditto for our office. I will turn one of the "musics" off if we're both OUT of session.

Sometimes I will turn both off.

That would be nice.... but then we'd run into that whole "royalty fee" thing that was discussed here in recent months. Wouldn't we?

And he and I use different music- we both like both, and it's nice to change it up sometimes. We're a bit "small" yet to worry about "color coordinating" our music, hee hee.
