Apologies if this is a redundant question, but I haven't found any specific info in the forum. Is it ok--safe, I mean--to walk from the border to La Revo and then up to LZ? I am not asking because I am cheap, it is just that I plan to visit more than just La Zona.

If I am driving down and parking on the Us side of the border from LA, would you recommend spending the night?
