Have you ever been to Phuket? just wondered, as if so why would you want to travel half way round the world to shag fat old ugly geezers from your own country, instead of enjoying the locals???

Oh yeah, I suppose for the same reason why you have to get a hotel where you can sunbathe topless, no matter if against local culture, because a holiday is just not a holiday unless you can get your tits brown!!! is this right or right???

dodger i didnt disrespect anyone and expect the same from other members, i never said i will sunbath topless and will go against Thai culture, i asked a question and if this is not acceptable than i wnt do....

But i am reading there are certain beaches which may not be visited by Thai families and there some people do sunbath topless, again if its not acceptable i wnt do. i am an immigrant myself so i do respecta country's culture.... still if i offended someone i am sorry and wnt ask any more questions on topless sunbath

You should have no problem meeting a young couple in Patong when you are out and about. There is a broad mix of people around. Maybe one of the younger type discos like Banana (I think) would be a good start.

When I was there a couple of months back there were a number of young couples in the hotel I stayed in, although it doesn't normally have them.

Just go out and make the effort and you'll be surprised how many friendly young couples you'll meet. You won't find too many on this board though, it's full of grumpy cynical old geezers like myself! 555
