I think that this raid was triggered by the spa soliciting girls who were staying at the hostel across the street.

A social worker filed a complaint.

Not that I care about this place, but I would take the reports more seriously if the police had rescued a few minors from the premises, or charged somebody with procuring minors. The police accused them in the papers of some pretty serious stuff, but only laid bawdy house charges.

Honestly - I hate to say it because if the accusation is true then I'm fully-behind going after them hard. However, I have seen how the police can twist things in the media to create an uproar to gain support; not just concerning the adult industry (although I've seen that too). I know of a club that was accused of some outlandish things that did not happen in order to create more support behind police action that took place there a few years ago. By throwing in these accusations, the more liberal members of the public like those of you who have criticized the police for wasting tax payer dollars on busting massage parlors might actually support the busts instead.
