Webcam 2 way chat thru website?

We have a computer/camera set up in our barn to keep an eye on our animals when we're not home. We also have a website when you can go to our webcam but whenever someone types something all you hear is a clicking sound (when you're in the barn) and you can't see what they type til you get onto the webcam-It has a chat style thing under it.
Is there a program we can load so we can hear what people are saying or another website we can stream our cam through that'll read it out loud?
The people watching the cam can hear what we say when we are in the barn and hear the animals. We just can't hear what they say.
