Weekend hotel in Patong

Ok, a newbie question then. Just realized that I have lost complete control of the various hotel options near Bangla. So I am in dire need for an update on what’s available.

What I am looking for is just a place I can pop into on a late Saturday afternoon with easily available rooms. Having a bathtub and a balcony would be huge pluses. Should be around or preferably less than 1000 Baht. Since I would not need to take a Tuk Tuk from Kamala --- and perhaps even an ST loom if need be :whistle: --- this should offset some of the costs.

Used C&N the other weekend, but wondered what the other options are.

This might be a bit simplistic, but what about starting at the top of Sansabai and walking down until something takes your fancy and is within budget?

Lucky Leks next to Summer Breeze 400 baht, better is next door called Phuket Nights at 500 baht, or walk a bit further up to the top of Banzaan and theres a place at 350baht.

Phuket Nights would be my choice, if looking for budget accomodation, that usually have the odd room spare, bigger rooms, friendly owner.

of course Summer Breeze is less than 1K bht as is Orchid...and there's Jenny's at 500 with good size rooms but basically furnished

sheila's also has nice rooms....not sure of price
