Hi.I was wondering how to fill out my work life.I have done everything I can think of to work as much as possible in just massage, but am at some kind of plateau or something.I want to do more than massage and yet I am not totally sure what would be a complimentary practice.I was wondering what kinds of careers or 2nd business' would be complimentary as a massage therapist so I can work more in a day?Especially something that doesn't take too many years of training or, cost too much - like becoming a chiropractor. ($100,000.+ in my area).Preferably, much less than $20,000. in cost of training. The business' or careers I can think of off the top of my head are things like, A Yoga Instructor - learn to instruct people in yoga (which goes along with massage).A Nutritional Counselor - Advising people on what and how to eat to maximize their health.Personal Trainer - Coaching people in sports, working out, and similar.Hypnotherapist - Help people overcome personal problems with hypnotherapy.Acupuncturist - Helping the energy flow, etceteras.Aromatherapist - Helping people to have better smelling and more healing environments.WHAT ELSE?Some similarities of these career choices are the following.*Working one on one, usually (except when there are 2)*Sessions with clients an hour to two hours maximum.*Regular or sporadic schedule.*Good earnings per hour (Over $20 hourly, in own business).*Promoting/Facilitating Healing/Balancing type of work.*I only want to work with adults. No children.I was wondering what kinds of careers or 2nd business' would be complimentary as a massage therapist so I can work more in a day? (without massaging more). What kinds of second careers or business' do other massage therapists have? Please share. Thanks. If you have any ideas - guesstimates or estimates on what it costs to be trained in it and length of training, etceteras - that would be helpful to share too. Thanks.
