Guys, just came from a long trip in SE Asia, and I was in Japan for 2 weeks; Yes, Dai Ichi Annex was good, booked it via Expedia for some $ 120 Canadian; splendid location and if you go down the street to Shimbashi Station, around that station you’ll find LOTS of Asian cuties for sale; go after 10:30 pm and they are there, hunting down salary men; I was quoted 10,000 Yen, went down to 5,000 Yen with a China puppy; you just have to go to their places, very close by; I also hired an escort from Asia Mistique, $450 per 2 hrs, best money ever spent in my life; No regrets

philippines was fun, except for the weather (like tokyo...hot and humid). girls for your choosing ... for a modest price. i try to swing by for manila 3 to 5 days whenever i go to japan. actually, it is a bit cheaper for me overall. i go to tokyo for business, usually meetings the first three days i am there, then i have a gap of 3 to 4 days before my next meeting before i head back to the states. hell, in tokyo, for a modest dinner and drinks with friends or business associates will set me back $300-500 bucks and night. so, i use my frequent filier miles to manila, hotel is about $50 night, food $30 day and girl/drinks $60.

Just returned from Japan and Philippines a few days ago.

Near the Shimbashi Station is the Dai Ichi Annex. It is a nice upperscale business hotel for around $110 US$/night. The rooms are a little larger than your typical matchbox business hotel. However, breakfast is not included. Also, I heard that the Ginza Capitol hotel is very good, location-wise, it is in the heart of Ginza. But the room is very small.

I am not sure if you meant trying to find out how to get to Sayama from Ginza or Nihonbashi by rail/subway. However, the following site is great. Just type where you are leaving from, your place of destination, and time of departure and it will give alternative rail/subway routes with fare.

As for hotels, you can try Precisionreservations.com, asiarooms.com or even hotels.com. I have been using precisionreservations and hotels.com the rates are usually very competive.

ahh your bringing back memories, nothing better to do then pound small japanese girls on a lazy saturday afternoon. Actually I've never been in the military, (though i tried to enlist at least 6 times!!!) Im going to a place near Saitama and Tokorozawa called Sayama. Ive been racking my brains all night trying to get to Nihonbashi (near Ginza) to Hirose, Sayama. Well, if you are US Military, you can stay at the New Sanno Hotel in Hiroo and have large American style beds. Also, two great hotels but not near the Tokyo "downtown" area are the Shinagawa Prince Hotel and Takanawa Prince Hotel. Only a short ride by taxi to downtown. Decent prices and great service. Beds are a good size too, especially for pounding small Japanese girls.

for discount travel it depends on the time of year you want to go to japan and from the departing city in the usa. obviously, the west coast is cheaper to tokyo than the east coast. try looking at:
