What book of H.P. Lovecraft do you recommend for a newbie in his work?

I would like to read some of H.P. Lovecraft's work, but I don't know where to start.

Also, for someone who is interested in generally in the Lovecraft Mythos, what works of other writers related to Lovecraft's work do you suggest?

Which short stories/collections of them do you suggest?

He did write one novel, "At The Mountains Of Madness." It's pretty good, but I'd recommend getting a simple "Best of H.P. Lovecraft" collection. Some of his best stories are "Beyond The Wall Of Sleep," "The Doom That Came to Sarnath," "The Nameless City," "The Colour Out Of Space," "The Dunwich Horror," "The Dream-Quest of Unknown Kadath," and, of course, "The Call Of Cthulu." Lovecraft's awesome.

I'm not quite sure if H.P. Lovecraft ever wrote a full book, I think he only wrote short stories...
I can recommend the collected short stories "The Dunwich Horror and Others". It includes the (I guess) better known works - The Music of Erich Zann, The Call of Cthulhu, The Dunwich Horror and more.
