What did your friends had that you didn't?

Here is another for the old farts. When growing up and looking at those that had better than you. What comes to mind?.

I remember others in high school wearing Valentino, Levis and designer jeans while I had to wear the cheap ones. Also when working in my teens I had to pay rent to my parents to help them out while others were driving in new cars.


So, what do you remember?.
