What do you think when you're chatting with someone and they suddenly go offline?

There's only one person I know who would never go offline just because they were bored or didn't want to talk to you, so when she goes offline I always give her the benefit of the doubt. For everyone else I know who would do that I'm just a little annoyed.

I don't make assumptions about that; it could be anything from a person interrupting them to an outage with power or internet provider.

They either left because of something important or he/she didn't feel like chatting anymore? or is afraid or shy. That is the only reason.

i would think the chat went down....the one i chat with would never just hang up without saying good bye...if the chat was down, i would get an email explaining and she would say good bye then..
