What is the best age to get married?

Well the title say it all.. so what do you think is the best age to get married and have children?

I think 25 is for guys and 21 for girls...

Well if I was advising my daughter, not til atleast 28 after you have some stability seen the world a bit, had some relationship experience, and had known the guy a while who is atleast 30. Oh yeah get a good prenup.

Tricky Q - I'd say 25 to 30.

There is such a thing as too old to get married. Once you're set in your ways, it's tough to adapt to accommodate a new person in your life.

1. Sustain your career.
2. List 10 places and bucket list things (skydiving) and do at least 7 of each.
3. Hopefully, you'll progress in your career.
4. Get a place condo, small house and never put anyone else's name on it.
5. Play the field, nobody should get married until they're in the mid 30's
6. You want someone to care for, get a dog much cheaper than wife and kids.
7. Easier still, get a cactus plant, and put a screensaver of a dog on your computer.
8. The right woman will come along and she'll want to keep her place too for the times that
you can't stand the sight of each other!

No bloody way would I think of doing it again! I'd rather grow old on my own then be bitched and nagged at to the point that I have to choose to use escorts and if I get caught, lose 1/2 of everything. Screw that!

I've met nice civilian women, christ gone on vacation with some, but 10 days holiday and upon return I need 5 days alone! Kids, I'm too old for kids! I like them, but I'm almost 43 and that would mean from 60-65 that I'm working to put them through school.

Screw that life is just fine as it is.

Ok, Here goes, All Men even the Noble ones are cheats, women too. We are animals. Marriage is just a state of mind. We all have lies from each other and disappointments. It is no fairy tale and it a lot of work, some good, some naughty and some bad.

When should a women get married when she realize that the man she is marring is not as sweet and innocent. That she is strong enough to deal with shit, bit her lip and when she has her children or what ever, she can leave or stay.

Drama starts the minute you start dating him. If you love somebody that must you know if you want to stay or leave. Even if you love them, you have to say enough, because Women in all reality you are what counts, you are there to support them, that is our roll in life even if they do not think so.

I"m still something of a romantic...so I'll say you should get married when you find the right girl.

I'm also realistic...so I'll say make sure she's the right girl by comparing her to lots of other girls.

I'm also married...so I'll say, not matter how great she is when you marry her, she's going to change (just as you will) and chances are that those changes will lead you apart. I'm lucky that my wife is also my friend so we get along very well even if the romantic part isn't what it used to be.

wow, I actually agree with all this. I'm not sure I understand all of it, but i'm hearing a mix of romanticism and pragmatism all in one.

sounds like you've learned some hard lessons.

My only comment is that the relationships work when BOTH parties take the same attitude above.

I thought 30 for me, she was 24....I was wrong:....I now say NEVER!!!!! Just pay for it its cheaper with less headaches.....eventually you pay for it anyway and you still have the headaches at home and have to pay for that too!!!

But then, if I knew then what know now, I would have not made a LOT of mistakes...
