What is the best way to introduce our 4 year old dog to a puppy from the shelter?

We are adopting a puppy from the Humane Society and they want us to bring our dog for a meet and greet. Our dog has never been around a puppy before so I'm not sure how she will react. We came from a house that had two smaller dogs. A toy poodle and a smaller mixed dog. She played with them no issue.

What would be the best way to introduce them while we are at the shelter? I really want it to go as smoothly as possible because we are adopting the runt of the litter that no one seemed to want. We want to give him a happy home.
