What is the customary draping for a massage treatment in Europe?

A couple of clients of mine told me that draping is not generally used in European spas and massage was done in the buff, but a friend of mine recently told me that was not here experience when she traveled there. She hasn't been there in over 20 years though.

It depends on what type of massage therapy you go for. Some can be completely clothed (sports wear) and these are more physcial forms of massage

For the more traditional "lying on a bed" massage then again it depends to be honest. Some are with a sheet covering you and ideed others are naked, but you can request to wear a towel/sheet, should you wish

The best thing is to check in advance and with what you are comfortable with. It is not in the interests of a decent massuse to have you stressed out because of not being comfortable with/without clothes (defeats the point) and wanting to be more modest will not be a problem.

When I was there it was completely nude without draping of any sort.
