I got my first scorpion, Hermes, in February of this year. He has done great alone, but I recently discovered that Emperor scorpions do better in colonies. Today I bought another scorpion, Hera, who may be pregnant. I was told that there would be no problems, but Hera is much bigger than Hermes and seems to be bullying him. Is it normal for these docile scorpions to act hostile when introduced to a new habitat and "buddy?" I have them in a 20 gallon tank with climbing rocks and several hiding places, but should I separate them or let them work it out on their own? Any advice is greatly appreciated.
