What is your most important tool?

This was a question on the first semester final for my massage class. I remember it so vividly, because I chose the wrong answer. As we went over the test, I still wasn't convinced of the right answer; just seemed too vague or obscure for me. However, in subsequent training and experience as a massage therapist, the answer has become my guide.

While I have a basic knowledge of energy work, I'd never heard of Matrix Energetics before reading this thread:

but I was intrigued with (and accepted) barefoot's offer to provide a long distance session to fellow bodyworkers.

It was an amazing experience that further strengthened my belief that my intent is my most important tool. If you'd like details of the session, feel free to PM me.

I answered intent because I believe out of intent comes the technique and how it will be applied in that session.

It's more of a question than a poll, but I didn't know any way to make a question with clickers than that. It's a poll in the sense of finding out how many people answered the same way I did.

My most important tools would be my mind and my heart. My mind for the knowledge it contains and my heart for the compassion and intuition it has. Both are equally important.
