Well, my vote is Christianity, but I'm not going to beat you with my Bible to get you there.

If I were you, take any recommendations you get from your question and study those religions (including Christianity!) before deciding on one. Don't let anyone decide for you. Pray about it, too and ask God to reveal Himself to you.

If you must have a religion, I recommend worship of Ma Lo Wong. He is a fun god, not grim and depressing as too many are. He loves pranks and mischief, rather than exterminating all creatures on our planet and killing all of a poor man's family and afflicting him with a painful illness in an adolescent one-ups-man-ship game with his rival as Yahweh was said to do.

Try a book on comparative religion. Read up. Make a list of morals stances you might take. Shop around. Ask questions.

Being agnostic, nondenominational or Atheist is nothing to be ashamed of. Most people who claim to be the latter, are really just "listening" to the world...and trying to pick up weak signals of truth wherever they might blow in from. Science tends to bring more than Theology alas.
